Who Is Dirt Road Dreams?

Dirt Road Dreams is both a hobby woodworking shop and your source for farmhouse-inspired home decor. Based in Upstate New York (way upstate...far away from the city).

I'm the founder of Dirt Road Dreams, my name is Christian. I'm a husband and father to four daughters. My oldest, Hunter, is in the United States Army Reserves - and as I write this, she has just graduated Basic Training. She's currently in AIT (Advanced Individual Training) for her Army job in the Human Resources field. Next in line is Susan. She's 19 and is learning graphic design. Tricia is 17 and a recent high school graduate. She worked through the culinary arts program and loves to cook. She is working with her uncle in his pizzeria and working on expanding her cooking skills. Kelly is the youngest at just 14 years old. This year, after a long quarantine, she decided that she'd like to be homeschooled for high school. We have a long road ahead of us this summer of curriculum choices and new schedules to get used to.

I also have a couple of four-legged children, Wickett - a long haired, grey Maine Coon cat and Macchiato, a chocolate lab that's just two years old and loves to spend time in the shop with me.

I spend my days leading the marketing efforts of a manufacturing company that makes products for the outdoor space. Nights can find me in the workshop making a new project or working on the Dirt Road Dreams website and social media accounts.

My dream is to make Dirt Road Dreams my full time job and to expand the manufacturing capabilities to include more products. I'd love to see my teenage daughters join the efforts as well - once in a while, I can get them out into the shop to give Dad a hand with something. I'm looking for a way to build a legacy business that I can hand down to them as a way to supplement their family's income or turn into a full time career.
