Dirt Road Barns is a small family shop in Newark, NY, right in the heart of the Finger Lakes. We make layered wood maps and personalized gifts one piece at a time, for folks who want something real to hang on the wall or give to someone they love.

Wood maps of the places you love

Our wood maps are what we're best known for. Each one is engraved maple land over hand-painted blue water, laser-cut, layered and framed right here in our shop. We've mapped lakes, bays and towns all over the country, and if your place is on Google Maps, we can make you a custom one. We'll send you a proof before we cut a single piece of wood.

Gifts with your name on them

Ornaments, signs and keepsakes made with your names, dates and details, the kind of gift that gets pulled out of the box every year. Along with the maps and personalized gifts, you'll find rustic home decor, holiday pieces, and handmade earrings and hair clips.

Who we are

We're Tami and Jennifer, a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law running this little shop together. Two generations, one family shop.

We're building something we hope to pass down, made the old-fashioned way, one handmade piece at a time. Every order helps us get there, and we don't take that lightly.
