Grand Cayman is the largest of the three Cayman Islands. This map takes in the whole island, from West Bay and the Cayman Turtle Centre down past George Town, around the wide, shallow North Sound and out to the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park and the East End. The engraved subtitle reads Cayman Islands, British West Indies.

How we make it

The land is layered maple, laser-cut along the shoreline and engraved with the towns, beaches and landmarks. Underneath, the water is hand-painted blue with the island's offshore depth contours scored in, so the shoreline casts a real shadow. Then we frame it in 1/2" stained walnut. Every map is cut, painted and assembled by hand in our Newark, NY shop.
